Tonka Football Association

The 2012 Passing League is a 7 on 7 program.  The players will develop the offensive and defensive skills and fundamentals associated with the passing game. 

The program is separated into two groups (5th/6th) and (7th/8th).

5th/6th Graders              
Tuesdays

Dates: 6/19, 6/26, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24

7th/8th Graders     
Thursdays
10:00 am - 11:30 am
Dates: 6/21,6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26          

Location: Minnetonka High School Stadium/Veterans Field
Cost: $25 (includes t-shirt for each player)
Equipment: T-shirt, Shorts, and Cleats.

The Annual TFA Camp is open to all 2012 3rd-6th Graders. 
The camp is staffed by Minnetonka High School Football Coaches, current and past Minnetonka Football players. 
The camp will focus on the fundamentals of blocking, tackling, passing, receiving, ball handling, punting and kicking.  Players will apply these fundamentals through drills and fun, competitve games.

Cost: $75 (players in the Minnetonka School District)
           $100 (players outside the Minnetonka School District)

2012 Minnetonka Developmental Football Camp is for Players entering Grades 7th & 8th.

We are excited to offer this opportunity to our 7th/8th Grade Players.  The Minnetonka Developmental Football Camp will focus on specific position play as well as offensive and defensive schemes taught at Minnetonka Football Program. 
Players will learn offensive and defensive position as well as the fundamentals used in special teams play.  Players will learn the base plays of the Tonka offense, base fronts and coverage of defense.

The 2012 Quarterback Clinic is for players in Grades 3 - 6.

Players will focus on the throwing mechanisms, footwork, and leadership skills needed to play Quarterback.

Monday August 6th
Grades 3 & 4: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. 
Grades 5 & 6: 7:15 pm to 8:45 pm.
SPACE IS LIMITED TO 50 QBs PER SESSION.

There is limited space per grade.  Spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

The Kicking, Punting, Long Snapping Clinic is for players entering Grades 5th - 8th Grades.

Players will focus on improving kicking, punting and long snapping skills.

The Running Back Clinic is for players entering the 6th - 8th Graders.

Players will focus on stance, steps, taking a handoff, ball security, finishing runs, agility skills and run & pass blocking.
