TFA teams are formed in two ways.

1. In grades 2 - 5, teams are formed by Schools.  If a school has too many or not enough players, the school may be combined with another school to form a team.  Teams will have up to 18 players per team.  The Goal is to have the players be on a team with friends.  We know that this is one of the main reasons players want to play football.  *New for the 2019 season a friend request is available for 2nd and 3rd grade.
2. In grades 6 - 8, teams are formed via an "Equidraft" system.  Equidraft is an evaluation and selection process where the objective is to create teams that have equal distribution of player talent on each team.  In 6th grade, teams will have up to 18 players per team.  In grades 7 & 8, teams will have up to 22 players per team.
