Weigh-In Process for Grades 4th - 8th Grades

Each player is required to obtain an official weigh-in for the team roster. If an official weight is not obtained you will be a Black Striper for the season (NO EXCEPTIONS). 

Each player should make every effort to attend the weigh-in at their own district. 

The weight provided will be official. There is a minimum clothing requirement of shorts for the weigh-in.  

If a player cannot make it to Minnetonka’s weigh in, they are welcome to go to another Association's official weigh-in:  dates and locations are listed to the right on this page.

If you plan to attend another association's weigh-in, it is YOUR responsibility to confirm with that Association that their dates/times/locations remain the same as listed on LMAA or TFA sites. 

2023 Player Weigh-In Limits

4th = 90 pounds
5th = 100 pounds
6th = 120 pounds
7th = 145 pounds
8th = 160 pounds

2ND & 3RD GRADERS DO NOT NEED TO WEIGH-IN !!

If your player is over his/her grade weight limit at the official weigh-in, the player will be a black striper for the season.  Weight limits are in place as a safety precaution. 

Players above the maximum weight for each level can only advance the ball in certain situations.
